Artistic Dental Laboratories was founded by Jerry Ulaszek, and Thom Goetz in 1981 after the dental office they worked for shut down their in-house lab. Taking on their former bosses as their first new clients, Jerry and Thom managed and grew the lab into a well-respected local laboratory together until Thom’s retirement in 2011. As the lab grew so did the staff and talents among them. Having both studied and taught in Pankey, Jerry and multiple technicians have gone on to receive the industry’s highest accreditation of Certified Dental Technician (CDT), but have also continued on to learn the teachings of Dawson and SPEARS academies. With a grassroots start and a dedication to the field of dentistry Jerry continued to grow Artistic into a premier laboratory in Chicago with a specialty in complex implant restorations.

In 2006 Jerry was joined by his son, Danny. Danny quickly learned how to fabricate a quality restoration by hand and shortly after realized the future of the lab industry lay in some emerging technologies and materials. Since that time, Danny has built the areas strongest in-house CAD/CAM and milling center of any Chicago area laboratory and established Artistic as a premier lab for the future as well. With Danny as Artistic’s helm, Artistic Dental Laboratory is future facing and client driven. Striving to build the best possible customer support team while delivering the highest quality American made restorations possible at fair prices.
